1. Who we are
Cardinal Toolworks provides business software tools, including TrueCost Importer and its paid workspace TrueCost Pro. By using this website or the application you agree to these terms.
2. What you are buying
TrueCost Pro is a one-time purchase, US$29 at the launch price, granting a personal, non-transferable licence for one business to use the workspace. It is not a subscription and we do not charge you again automatically.
3. Accuracy and professional advice
TrueCost performs calculations on the figures you enter. Duty rates, tax rates, levies, valuation rules and exemptions change, and they depend on classification, origin and circumstances specific to your consignment. Country presets are starting points that you must verify.
Nothing on this site is customs, tax, legal or financial advice. Results are estimates. Confirm rates and rules with the relevant revenue authority or a licensed customs broker before committing money.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keep access to your email account secure, since sign-in is by email link.
- Enter accurate figures, and verify rates against official sources.
- Do not resell, sublicense or redistribute the application.
- Do not attempt to breach access controls or interfere with the service.
5. Your data
You own the data you enter. You can export it to CSV or PDF at any time. We handle it as described in our privacy policy.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service available and correct, but we provide it "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may change or improve features; we will not remove a paid capability without notice.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cardinal Toolworks is not liable for commercial losses, lost profits, duties, taxes, penalties or other costs arising from decisions made using the tool. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
8. Refunds and termination
Refunds are covered by our refund policy. We may suspend access for a serious breach of these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page, and continued use after a change means acceptance.
